What is Activity, and how is it different from City Ladder?

Activity turns the things you do on 8nOut — playing matches, sending challenges, making connections, and a handful of first-time milestones — into points, a tier and a set of badges on your profile. It's there for every member, whether or not your city has a City Ladder.

City Ladder is a different thing entirely: a rating that moves up and down with your match results against other members of your own city's ladder, built to measure skill. Activity never does that. Your points, tier and badges only ever measure how much you've shown up — not how well you play, and never against anyone else.

There's no ranked list of members by Activity points, and there isn't going to be one. You only ever see your own summary, or a summary another member chooses to let you see.
