What do Activity tiers mean?

As your points add up, you move through eight tiers, each shown as a numbered pool ball, starting at ball 1 (Rookie) and rising to ball 8, the black ball (Legend). It's a belt-rank kind of progression: further along means longer around, not better at the table.

Tier is entirely cosmetic. It's never a ranking against other members, and it has nothing to do with City Ladder's skill rating — a brand-new member and a City Ladder leader can hold the exact same Activity tier.

Tier only ever moves in one direction: up. It's derived from your total points, and your points never go down — not from a quiet week, and not from anything someone else does, like an opponent deleting a shared match.
