Where are the Terms and the Privacy Policy?
The Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy are the documents that actually bind us, so we link them rather than summarise them here. A summary can drift from the document it summarises, and then there are two versions of the same promise.
In the iPhone app, open the Settings tab and look under Legal. Each row shows the version you agreed to, tagged agreed. The Terms or Privacy page itself can show a higher version number after a small wording update — that's normal, and you'll only be asked to agree again if a change actually affects you.
On the web, both are on 8nout.com, and the links under this answer go straight to them.
If you have a question about your own data, the Privacy Policy names the address to write to. It is a different address from general help, so a request about your data does not get lost behind a question about the map.
