Why does some of the translated text sound a bit off?

Most of 8nOut's non-English text — in the app itself and in this Help Centre — is drafted with AI help or by volunteers, not checked word for word by a native speaker. So once in a while a sentence might read a bit stiff, or a word might land slightly wrong. That's expected, not a bug — we'd rather ship it imperfect than not translate it at all.

This is about app and Help Centre text only. The Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy are handled separately, with their own review — what they say has to be exact, so they don't get the same rough-and-ready treatment.
