Why does the text look garbled or half-translated?

8nOut already speaks several languages. You don't need your browser to translate it.

If the words look wrong or garbled — say a Dutch page turned into broken English — it's almost always your browser's built-in translation switched on. It's re-translating a page that's already in the right language, and that's what mangles it.

To fix it, turn off auto-translate for 8nout.com. Look for the translate icon in your browser's address bar and choose "Show original", or "Never translate this site". (You'll find this in Chrome, Edge and Safari.)

Want a different language? Choose it in 8nOut's own settings — the app stays correctly translated, whichever one you pick.
