I left a City Ladder — can I still change how my name appears on past boards?

A City Ladder season is saved once it closes, and if you were ranked in it your name stays on that saved board. Leaving the ladder doesn't take your name off a season that has already been recorded.

You can change that from your Profile. If you have a season saved under your name, you'll see a line telling you so, with a button: How my name appears in past seasons. It's there whether or not you're still on the ladder.

Choose it, and those saved boards show you as Former member instead of your name from then on. Your position and rating for that season aren't touched — only the name next to them changes.

You can do this whenever suits you, right when you leave or long afterwards. It's a separate choice from leaving itself: a member still on the ladder who wants an older season de-identified can use the same control from the board screen, without quitting.
